Summer Volleyball Week 4

Wahoos had a great showing, sweeping Overserved by winning a nailbiter in the first game (21-20) and two close games (21-17ish for both). Kelli subbed in to be a great help in holding down the back court, Julie had several runs of quality serves, including several aces, and Brian demonstrated some great court vision, putting down some hard spikes and well-placed psuedo-tips

The Cavs faced a tough team in Yanks and Gators, and managed to pull out a victory in the third game. Brian resisted the tag of being the saboteur by putting down some spikes in the third game, Kelli picked up some great digs at and off the net, Kevin continued his usual stellar play and it is hard for a ball to find the sand with Nadine in the back row. To do list for next week: KQ needs to go through her garage, or closets, or old storage space, wherever, to find her serve…she obviously lost it Tues night!! Seriously, lots of fun, great passes all around, and as has been happening lately, the refs and other teams seemed to be impressed by our progression. Nice job all!

Season Records:
Wahoos 8-4
Cavs 7-5
